Peter Lam is the Principal & Chief Executive Officer (PCEO) of Temasek Polytechnic. Prior to being PCEO, he spent close to 10 years as Deputy Principal in Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Deputy Director in the Ministry of Education. During his time in Education, Peter had been involved with the strategic planning and development of several Universities and the Smart Campus blueprint. Before Education, Peter served in the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Manpower and the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore.
Peter Chan is the Founder and Managing Partner of Crest Capital Asia, a regional alternative investment management firm. Peter started his private equity career in 1987 with one of the earliest US private equity firms in Asia before joining a division of ING Barings Asia Private Equity as Managing Director to start its investment programme in Asia and setting up offices in Singapore, Indonesia, India, China, Taiwan and South Korea. Peter is also a Fellow Member of both the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants as well as the Certified Public Accountants of Australia.
Benjamin Yeo is a Senior Social Worker with numerous years of experience in the mental health field. As a registered Social Worker and certified Addiction Counsellor, Benjamin has worked in various Institute of Mental Health (IMH) departments like National Addictions Management Service (NAMS), General Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Jerome has amassed 25 years of experience in the commercial sector and was a business builder in the Asian emerging and developing markets. He held key positions and led businesses in different industries, growing businesses and running operations. These companies included Abacus International, Rubbernetwork com LLC, Breakaway Solutions LLC, Hewlett Packard Asia and Accenture. He then decided to focus on the Social Service Sector and has held the position of ED of Club Rainbow, Deputy Director at HCA Hospice Care and Director of Project, Catholic Welfare Services.
Dr Theresa Lee is a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist with the Department of Psychological Medicine at KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital. Her expertise includes Perinatal Psychiatry, Women’s Mental Health and Mood Disorders. In her current appointment, she works primarily with pregnant and postnatal mothers who have emotional difficulties and challenges. Her previous appointment in the Institute of Mental Health has also given her a broad experience in General Psychiatry and working with youths and young adults. She has been actively involved in teaching throughout her career
Elizabeth is an Assistant General Counsel of Collins Aerospace, Singapore. She has more than fifteen years of legal experience, specialising in cross border commercial transactions. Prior to joining Collins Aerospace, she held the position of Legal Counsel with the Council of Private Education, Singapore. She is a committee member of the Pro-Bono Committee for the Association of Corporate Counsel and sits on the Collins Aerospace Women's Forum Asia as their Treasurer. She is passionate about safeguarding and advocating for the rights and interests of young persons and women.
With more than 50 years of service as a Missionary Priest, Father Paul Staes has served in several Ministries in different countries. He was a Professor in Moral Theology in the major seminary of Manila, in-charge of fundraising for CICM missions worldwide in Arlington and Treasurer-General of CICM in Rome. Fr Paul’s service in Singapore spans 3 parishes, as Chaplin in Nanyang Technological University, Prison ministry and ex-Chairman of the Archdiocesan Senate. He is currently the Rector of the CICM District House at Pandan Valley. Father Paul’s vast experiences and forward-looking approach broadens our mission towards improving mental wellness in the committee.
After graduating from the National University of Singapore, Fr. Kenson Koh began his training as a Roman Catholic priest. Ordained in 1995, he was assigned as an assistant priest. He went for further ecclesiastical studies in 2000 and began his work in the seminary in 2004. He was then assigned an assistant priest in 2015. He has been serving as parish priest in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary since 2017.
Houl Lee is the CFO and Head of Private Equity (China) at Wah Hin and Company. Between 2017 and 2019, Houl was working in Hong Kong as an Investment Director with Yonghe Investments Advisory. He started his career in 1992. Before joining the private equity industry, he spent 9 years with various MNCs including Ernst & Young, Asia Pacific Breweries and The Coca‐Cola Company in various finance related roles. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore.”
Loh Yong Chye is the CEO and Co-founder of ACT:DPI Pte Ltd who specialises in data protection training and consulting. He is concurrently an Adjunct Lecturer with the National University of Singapore (NUS) School of Computing, a consultant/ trainer with the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) Academy and an Associate Trainer with the NTUC Learning Hub. He was previously the Deputy Director with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Commission for 7 years until Dec 2019. In the earlier years of his career at the then-Infocomm Development Authority, he headed the organisational development and excellence function and was an IT manager of a government agency.
Chan Yit Foon is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources of Marina Bay Sands and is responsible for prioritizing and implementing human resources strategies for the integrated resort. Prior to joining Marina Bay Sands in 2011, Yit Foon was the Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Mediacorp Pte Ltd. Yit Foon began her career in IBM Singapore Pte Ltd where her last appointment was as Director of Human Resources, Asia Pacific.
Friar Gerald Tan, OFM, made his Solemn Profession of Religious Vows in 2020 as a full-fledged member of the Order of Friars Minor. As a trained Spiritual Director, he is passionate about accompanying others on their journey of life and faith, especially young adults and couples preparing for marriage. Being a Franciscan with experience in spiritual direction, clinical pastoral care, and ministry to youth, schools, and vocations, Friar Gerald seeks to create safe, welcoming spaces for reflection, conversation, and growth. He joyously dedicates his time to helping others recognise God’s presence in their lives and respond with faith, hope and love.
