Take Control: Introductory Yoga / Meditation Course

We invite you to join this 4-session Introductory Yoga / Meditation course to find out how these practices can help to improve our well-being. The course comprises Yoga Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing technique), Mindfulness Meditation and Q&A. We will be using the breath as our object of mindfulness in meditation practice.
Dates: Saturdays, 21st and 28th September, 5th and 12th October 2019
Time: 10 – 11.30am

10 – 11am: Hatha Yoga
11 – 11.20am: Mindfulness Meditation

About the trainer:
Su Juan is a certified yoga trainer from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre, India. She has volunteered as a trainer for Creative Mindset (for clients with depression), as well as Movement for the Intellectually Disabled Singapore (MINDS) where she conducted classes for caregivers of youths with intellectual disabilities. She practices the Vipassana Meditation technique which is a form of insight meditation. It is her aspiration to share her knowledge and practice to empower those who are seeking practical ways to help themselves live with greater mental and physical ease.
